Ambiente Solidale

Ambiente Solidale is a type B social cooperative established in 2006 under Law 381/91. As such it appears to be a particular form of business that, thanks to the development of entrepreneurial activities in the environmental and social field, allows the inclusion of people usually excluded from the market. It operates in the field of collection and transport of special, "dangerous" and "non-dangerous" waste. As a non-profit company, the mission of Ambiente Solidale, even before production is declared and in fact a social mission, which embraces and puts people in first place over money and work over capital. It works in the waste sector by combining the creation of stable employment, environmental protection and support for solidarity initiatives, focusing on the integration of people "in difficulty", disadvantaged, otherwise marginalized from the world of work. Ambiente Solidale wants to become the reference partner of public institutions and businesses, particularly in the territory of the Province of Naples. For 10 years continues to create and ensure employment opportunities and professional growth for its workers, especially for members. It carries out its mission in a responsible and ethical way, committing itself to a sustainable development, respecting the needs of the individual, the society and the environment. The cooperative Ambiente Solidale, promoted by Caritas Diocesana of Naples and Caritas Ambrosiana, is a member of the Consortium of social cooperatives Co.Re. (cooperation and reciprocity). The cooperative adheres to Confcooperative-Federsolidarietà, to the national network CGM, to the national network "FAI" (anti-racket federation) as a founding member of an anti-racket association. Ambiente Solidale currently collaborates with the Caritas Diocesana of Naples in the activation of projects that combine environmental protection, social and employment
