RREUSE's advocacy work focuses on one core mission: to bring the voice of our members – social and circular enterprises – into EU policy-making. To this end, RREUSE advocates for the integration of the EU social and circular agendas, a job-rich Europe and a just transition that brings prosperity to all, with resilient social enterprises driving an inclusive and innovative circular economy through reuse and repair.

Socio-Economic Policies

RREUSE advocates for ambitious initiatives in the European Social Economy Action Plan and a long-term vision for the social economy to thrive. Measures to strengthen the social economy, including the pioneering work of social enterprises in the circular economy, contribute to the fulfilment of rights recognised in the European Pillar of Social Rights as essential for fair and well-functioning labour markets and social protection systems.

Environmental & Circular Policies

RREUSE calls for bold action to phase out the linear economy once and for all. We advocate for a variety of policies – from waste prevention and management, to product regulation and design – to ensure that products are repairable and reusable and, ultimately, are reused, preferably by social enterprises.
