The reuse center accepts donations of products that are well-preserved and functional, which they will prepared for reuse and put for sale at a symbolic price in the green store, also located here. By purchasing here, you save money, save natural resources and support local jobs.
Center Ponovne Uporabe is a social company which started its work in 2010, employing 34 people full time – 85% of them with special needs. It has worked on more than 70 national and EU projects, and also implemented the yellow bag system in Slovenia, thereby helping to completely change waste treatment. Each year, it sells more than 100.000 used items, and make about 5.000 products using materials from waste. Its goal is to increase the number of items it redirects from waste to product while creating as many jobs as possible, especially for people with special needs.
