Founded in 1987 and member of Emmaus International since 1994. The Emmaüs La Chaux-de-Fonds community, located in the Jura mountains, is home to 20 companions and can count on the support of volunteers and people in socio-professional reintegration. Together, they carry out the traditional work of Emmaus communities: recovery, sorting, repair and resale at low prices. The community has two branches in the canton of Neuchâtel, which carry out the same activities. It supports Romanian communities by sending materials for sale.
