Il Poliedro

Poliedro CooperativaSociale was founded in 1990 and today is one of the largest social cooperatives in Umbria. This social cooperative works for the employment of disadvantaged people. For this reason, they collaborate with local services by launching integration and work placement projects, among others through the collection and management of household waste. Today, Poliedro has 161 workers, 68 ordinary members, 61 working members, one subsidizing member and six voluntary members: all of them participate in the life of the cooperative, giving it general guidelines and maximising the cultural role of the cooperative within the territory, thus contributing to improving the quality of life. They work in Umbria, Tuscany and Marche with both public and private entities. Poliedro means variety and diversity in the broadest sense: heterogeneous entities that offer many different services at the same time. They provide their clients with a quality and socially sustainable service, thanks in part to innovative working methods, professionalism and the wealth of technology at their disposal.
