La Nuova Cooperativa is a social enterprise aiming to support socially disadvantaged people through a number of economic activities. The cooperative's history since the 1980s shows how it has been possible to reintegrate into the social fabric hundreds of people previously distanced from the labour market, including people with mental, physical and sensory disabilities, but also former drug addicts, the long-term unemployed, people with a low level of education, and more. Among other services, this social cooperative collects and manages household waste.
