Materials for the Arts

Materials for the Arts (MFTA) collects surplus materials from businesses and individuals at a Long Island City warehouse and redistributes them, free of charge, to NYC nonprofits with arts programming, public schools, and City Agencies. MFTA is a program of the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, with additional funding from the Department of Education and Friends of Materials for the Arts, its non-profit partner.
