New York Cares

New York Cares is the largest volunteer network in the city. Last year, nearly 20,000 New Yorkers made the city a better place by volunteering in New York Cares programs at 650 nonprofits and schools – improving education, meeting immediate needs, and revitalising public spaces. Each winter, New York Cares runs the City’s largest coat drive, collecting gently used winter coats from New Yorkers and distributing them to people at shelters, community organisations, and nonprofits.
