play:groundNYC is a non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming the city through play. Their playworkers support children’s play at their adventure playground — The Yard — and through partnerships with community organisations in diverse neighborhoods across New York City. In 2024, they diverted around 10,700lbs of materials from the waste stream to be resources for play!
