From online second-hand sales to interactive store locators, digitalisation is changing how social enterprises in the circular economy engage with customers. But what skills are needed to make these transitions successful? And what impact does digitalisation have on individuals and communities?
As part of the DigiSocCirc project, co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), this report presents three case studies from Austria, Germany, and Romania. Each case highlights how social enterprises are leveraging digital tools to improve customer experience, increase access to re-use opportunities, and enhance social impact. By linking specific skills to tangible outcomes, these examples provide valuable insights for organisations looking to strengthen their digital approach.
