Digitalisation is changing the way we work, live, and interact and social enterprises in the circular economy are no exception. As they continue to deliver social and environmental impact, embracing digital tools can help them work smarter, reach more people, and make an even bigger difference. But what does digitalisation really mean for re-use and repair? Where are the biggest opportunities, and what challenges do social enterprises face?
To answer these questions, partners of the DigiSocCirc project consortium explored the role of digitalisation in sorting, collecting, logistics, and traceability for re-use. The result is a new report that looks at key trends, weighs up the risks and opportunities, and provides practical recommendations to help social enterprises navigate the digital shift on their own terms.
