The post-COVID world has made one thing clear: transforming our production-driven linear economy into a circular, value-preserving one is no longer optional but essential. But this shift cannot happen without fairness. A socially just distribution of income, participation, and wealth is crucial to ensuring that people embrace the transition.
In 2021, RREUSE played a key role in pushing this transformation at the European level. Advocating for a future where local and regional value preservation takes precedence over mass production, we worked to align social and environmental goals. Our vision, shared by many NGOs and now increasingly recognised by EU institutions, is simple: a good life for all within a global well-being economy.
