De Kringwinkel Open Plaats is a social enterprise with thrift shops in Ghent and Destelbergen. It offers a wide, diverse range of second-hand items and supports social employment and the future opportunities of its employees, thereby fighting against poverty. Open Plaats also invests its annual profits in food aid for vulnerable people in the community. All this is done with the help of more than 150 volunteers.
