Re-Use Austria, formerly known as RepaNet, was established in 2004. The organisation advocates for a transition to a circular economy model by promoting the extension of product lifespans through reuse and repair. Most of its members are social enterprises involved in the reuse sector, focusing on textiles, electronic equipment, and other goods such as furniture. To assist their members in making their reused products available online, Re-Use Austria developed the online second-hand platform WIDADO, which was launched in 2022. Additionally, the organisation includes networks of commercial repairers and serves as a platform for repair cafés to support the DIY repair movement.
