Werkplus - Fietspunt Waregem
Bike points, or "fietspunt" in Flemish, aim encourage the use of bicycles in combination with public transport by facilitating the leasing, repairing, or stationing of bikes next to train stations. This fietspunt is run by Werkplus.
Werkplus is social enterprise providing guidance and training to people with a disability or distanced from the labour market. This with the objective of helping them integrate into the regular labour market. Werkplus collects, repairs, rents and sells a wide range of bicycles within 'Veloods' and operates a bicycle point in Waregem. Werkplus also has a local range for reusable cups.
